The Nigerian team of NOODLES, in the person of Prof. Orish Ebere ORISAKWE, is invited by the University La Sapienza of Rome to visit Italian research bodies…

…during May 8th – June 6th, 2008, Prof. Orisakwe joins activities of the research groups at the Dept. of Chemistry (“Sapienza” Univ.), the Food and Veterinary Toxicology Unit at the Dept. of Veterinary Public Health and Food Safety (Istituto Superiore di Sanità), and the WHO/FAO Collaborating Centre for Veterinary Public Health at the DVPHFS. Prof Orisakwe has been invited to give lectures at the Dept. of Chemistry on heavy metal hazards in Nigeria, by the exposure through herbal remedies, occupation and environment-to-food chain. The visiting professorial fellowship has been granted by the “Sapienza” University of Rome.
